Clottey has same height but longer arms tho...his guard may be high but his elbows still cover him well. And when he lands the first uppercut, Cotto will feel like he cant get off to hit the body again.

I like this fight because as far as I've seen, neither man has talked ****. The only one who has talked **** are the fans for the most part.

By his expressions it doesn't seem Clottey is convinced he can win. Just on pure punch output, Cotto UD.

          clottey via late KO/TKO
I think you have it all wrong my friend, I think Clottey is the most overrated WWchamp. As far as KO 'ing Cotto, Clottey just doesn't have that kind of power or his punch output is not that impressive either, so very unlikely that will happen.

It's hard for me to envision Clottey knocking out Cotto with one punch even though Cotto isn't the most sturdy fighter to me when it comes to punch resistance. Clottey is just not that kind of ****er. One thing I think Clottey should try to take advantage of is Cotto's vulnerability for the uppercut. That weakness was exploited continueously in the Margarito fight. One thing that Cotto has a history of is cutting inside his mouth. That's what his uncle did a good job controlling and obviously he'll need a good corner to keep that in check. That's where I could maybe see Clottey scoring a stoppage if it opens up bad enough. If Clottey starts out strong though and fades down the stretch like in his fight with Margarito and just goes into a shell then I think Cotto wins this fight pretty handily. At least Cotto was still fighting against Margarito as a beaten man where Clottey just seemed to fight the rest of his fight with Margo not to lose. He did finish on his feet though unlike Cotto did.

I see Cotto getting TKO in the late rounds... Clottey is one tough customer.

Clottey went to a shell because Margo prolly had plaster in his hands...and most of all he hurt his. But still could hold is own in that fight....and Margo has way more output than Cotto. Plus he has a blueprint on how to beat him (uppercut on the inside). Joshua is going to shock many ppl. Or so i believe!

Clottey is very tough, but most of the time the better boxer wins. miguel cotto by split decision

Anyone else think if Cotto wins easy, the board will call Clottey overrated and discredit the win? It seems like no win these days is good enough on these boards.
IF Clottey loses, he should try n pursue Mayweather as another chance @ fighting the best, but we all know that Floyd would buy himself out the fight, i know Clottey can take him out.

Last night i had a dream that the fight was happenin' and Cotto got caught with the same combo he got caught against Torres and that he went down after like 8 straight shots HARD. I was mad, woke up, and went back to bed to dream again that Clottey won a Decision. So i woke up again and went back to bed n had another dream that Cotto knocked down Clottey in the 4th and the 8th but won a Decision, i was happy after the last dream.

I hope the 1st 2 dreams dont come true, i was upset as hell n sad-lol- but we will see what happens come June 13th.

By the way, Joshua IS from NYC, he from the BX.
