Does Khan hit hard? I think he hits hard enough to gain the respect of his opponent, but not sure if he could hurt Ricky before getting hurt himself. Undoubtedly, Khan would be tagging Hatton repeatedly, he has pretty rapid hands, and if Khan has the ability to hurt Hatton, maybe he can win. I see Ricky catching Khan's chin and taking him out before something like that happens. Khan ain't no Pac-Man.

No one wants to bow out on a loss and a fight against Hatton would be Khan's biggest pay day to date, so I see it as a possibility.

Despite the diminution of Hatton's boxing prowess, I think he would have to be the favourite if he fought Khan because he beat Malignaggi comfortably just last year and Khan's only notable victory came against a pitifully shot Barrerra.

However, if Hatton failed to move his head whatsoever against Khan, like he did against Pacman, I feel that Khan would win with ease.
Who cares? I never found Hatton's style to be all that entertaining. Actually, I do not like Hatton's dirty, wrestling style of boxing at all. If I wanted to watch someone try to bully someone all over a canvas in a way that does not look artful or skillful I would be watching mma bouts.

I am sure Hatton's confidence is shot. He was getting ****y. I think Kahn would grease him.

Yes, Khan can **** a bit. This one could go either way, IMHO, but if pushed I'd pick Khan. He's on the up, has got his confidence back and importantly having paid a fortune for a good trainer he listens to him. Khan wouldn't beat the pre-Mayweather Hatton, but I don't think we'll see that Hatton again. Ricky knows now that he can't compete with the real elite in the sport; no shame there, but I just don't think he'll have the motivation for 'lesser' fights. He certainly doesn't need the money.

                    Bum?

He may not be the greatest fighter of all time, but he has won four World titles at two different weight divisions.

Anyway, I think this thread could use a poll.

For the record I think that Khan, even though he has never fought a World Champion, would beat Hatton with ease.

Hatton is now a shell of his former self and Amir Khan is currently better than he has been at any point in his career so far.
