He should fight Ricky Hatton in a crossroads match.

Torres is done at 140. He openly admitted that's why he didn't take the third fight.

He did say he's ready for Andre Berto. That would be a decent scrap....but Berto would kill him....actually wouldn't be a good fight lol.

However, before fighting any 147-pound contender, Ricardo Torres will have a tune-up fight in Barranquilla at Prado Mar Hotel on May 15th against Venezuelan Darwin Medina. The card is organized by Cuadrilátero Promotions and will be held in front of the Caribbean Sea. Torres, who is making his 147-pound debut, understands that things will not be easy against top opponents, even though he claims to be ready for Joshua Clottey or Andre Berto. “I still have the enthusiasm of my fist days as a boxer and the desire to reign in my division,” he stated last Tuesday April 28 in Barranquilla´s Suite Prado Hotel. His long-time friend and trainer, Orlando Pineda, said that Torres has learned from mistakes and that his pupil is willing to do his best in order to sparkle at 147. “Torres is no longer a light welterweight, that´s why he is moving to the welterweight division, that´s why he didn´t fight Kendall Holt last time. He is ready for any big name,” he stated.

                  Torres Wins in Thriller
By Lee Bates reporting from Colombia

On Friday night former WBO junior welterweight champion Ricardo Torres (33-2, 29 KOs) defeated Raul Pinzon (16-3, 15 KOs) by way of 10th round TKO at the Hotel Prado Mar in Puerto, Colombia. Torres cornerman advised him prior to the start of the 10th and final round that he needed a knockout to win the fight with Torres himself being knocked down in rounds 4 and 7. Torres delivered as he went on to drop a very fatigued Pinzon 3 times in the final round in route to the TKO victory.

Yup, he was dropped twice and needed a KO to win, credit to him for getting it but I mean Pinzon is no world beater...at least I really don't think so lol. Yea this was his 147 debut he can't make 140 any more.
