If you can watch the interview with "BAD Chad" after the fight...watch the expression on his face when asked about giving Glen a rematch...."Why should I, I mean I beat him tonight, so that wouldn't prove anything"......I wanted to punch my TV when I heard that...I STILL want to punch my TV when I see the interview...so I watch in on my computer instead. lol!
But seriously, did Chad think Glen would be a walk in the park? I personally believe the refs play Johnson in the fights where the other fighter has either more Marketability or the promoters have "bigger" plans for their fighter.
Once Glen fights and shows the other guy that he is no joke, the other fighter starts to fight "no to lose" instead of their "gameplan". Hence the played decisions.....

Co-sign. And I just read an interview a couple days ago with Gary Shaw over on B-Talk and this would make you want to bash this guy in the head. He said that they didn't want to re-match Glen because they don't want to fight anymore 40 year olds. So they want Hopkins who is 44 YEARS OLD!!! But that's cool though, because I think Hopkins would humiliate him even worse even though I'd hate to see Dawson get a decent payday to go along with it and hang Johnson out to dry.

respect that opinion....but if Winky was willing to take him on after a 2 yr vacation with NO TUNEUP....and Verno Phillips (never been stopped in 20yrs..dam that's a long time) was willing to go toe to toe with him....its more of wrong timing of no available quality fighters to fight him....

I could be wrong with that last statement, so don't hold me to it.

It's the harsh reality but I don't think that Glen will ever get another shot at Chad. His best bet is to just hope that Showtime will pick up that fight with Adamek. He should get a nice payday from that. Probably even more than the Dawson rematch. Hell, I even think the Pole would have beaten Dawson in a 15 round fight. Did Chad really do anything impressive in those championship rounds besides get knocked on his ass and fight the rest of the fight like a beat-up spouse?
