opinions vary too greatly about when a fighter is shot. you can't degrade the value of a win so simply man. care to explain it in greater detail?

Do you know how long Manny took before he signed the Hatton fight. He broke the record because he wanted a bigger chunk of the money.Arum ended up having to guarantee a top up,why because every fighter fights for money.Even Roach said the Mayweather will be the most money fight.IThat means everyone in the sport is talking about money. You should have read about Arum demanding 65% for his fighter but surprisingly some talk only about Mayweather as if he is the only one who wants money.

So all this stuff about legacy should be talked about at the Olympics not the professional game. That's why they say it is professional boxing

every fighter fights for the money. true. but people point out floyd because it seems his only concern is big money fights involving no risk. he gets accused of ducking because when the planets are aligned for him to fight what everyone considers to be his "biggest threat" at the time he retires or chooses someone completely different that some might seem him having some kind of advantage over. if he had not done so repeatedly people wouldn't be so quick to start spewing the "mayweather is only in it for the money" lines. he did it to himself. while i don't agree with how mayweather is regarded and treated by a portiong of the boxing community you can't say you don't see why its like that.

The problem with the boxing world is their minds are made up and no matter what Mayweather does they will never appreciate it.Manny is the one who likes money more than anyone I have ever read about in boxing. He sits on contracts and disappears forever until he gets an ultimatum. No one is mentioning Arum and how he's running around talking about different things.Manny sat on Hatton's contract for 8 weeks, that's unheard of,he's fine because he's not Mayweather right?

To be fair with Floyd,he retired at a point he was supposed to fight DelaHoya.DelaHoya wasnt that much a challenge but he sure would bring the most money. That proves in a way that it's not entirely about money.

The issue of risk and reward is everywhere in boxing.Calzaghe wouldnt fight Froch because he said no one knew who Froch was.Hatton wouldnt fight Witter for the same reason. You saw last week,Dawson fought in a nightclub where the gate takings were only $170 000.Who would want to fight Dawson.

What people dont realise is,the fighting game is one thing.Marketing is another. If you put effort building your name you wont just want another person to come and benefit because he is a good fighter.Go out there ,build your own name then bring something to the table. This is business,Mayweather had to do dancing with the Stars while training for the Hatton fight. He was raising his profile,he is flying halfway accross to do press conferences in England, that costs money and time, now why should people mourn because he is enjoying the benefits.

what round do you think floyd will ko marquez? i see the fight ending in a ko for some reason. not saying marquez has no chance of winning but my gut tells me floyd. plus for his perfect record to go against the likes of marquez wouldn't be cool. i would honestly shed a tear for dude. not that pacquiao would no longer consider a fight with him but i sort of like him being undefeated. gets a lot of insecure people and haters unsettled. lol.
