the Showtime Card or the HBO card

Who's gonna watch what next Saturday, Put me down for the Showtime card. Ouma/Phillps and Vanderpool/Lacy are very evenly matched fights and I think both of those matches could go either way. Plus, you can see as close as there is to a guarenteed knockout in the heavywiight fight. The showtime card, I read is going to be outdoors in a great setting for boxing.

I would love to see Trinidad's comback attempt, it shold be a great fight to watch with Mayorga going right after him. But 50 bucks is to much for me to want to pay, since I just got Bernard/DeLaHoya last week.

What a great day for boxing that is.

    In one day
Felix Trinidad vs Ricardo Mayorga (160)
Wayne Braithwaite 21-0 vs Jean Marc Mormeck 30-2 (WBC/WBA 200)
    Zab Judah vs TBA (147)
Lou Del Valle vs. Richard Hall (175)
Wladimir Klitschko vs DaVarryl Williamson (Hvy)
Syd Vanderpool vs Jeff Lacy (IBF 168)
Verno Phillip vs Kassim Ouma (IBF 154)

I'll watch the Showtime card and catch the replay of Tito/Mayorga. The Showtime card is an all around better card anyway

Ouma vs Phillips and Lacy vs Vanderpool are great fights

Ouma/Philips should be another great fight but I can't miss Trinidad/Mayorga. Braithwaite/Mormeck should be a good fight. Isn't Judah fighting Wayne Martel or something like that?

My buddy's got Tivo so we'll watch six hours or so of boxing straight.

Do you realize that's it for HBO/Showtime in October until the 22nd when ShoBox returns?

things have worked out perfect to watch both! There is no way you can miss tito's return vs. mayorga but on that card thats it. I don't need to see Judah fight another Jaimie Rangel and now that Braithwaite/Mormeck is off the undercard sucks, making way for showtimes great undercard, i will be watchin all I can of those three fights(Wlad should kill TOS) until its time for a minature hagler hearns. I had a bunch of people who aren't real big fans of the sporet over for nard and delahoya and they were kinda ho hum about it. I promised them they would see at least two wars on oct 2! Although if Kelvin Davis is the step in guy for mormeck I will really be torn those are tough decision these networks are putting on us, at the very least tape showtime or tivo and get hte Tito and MAyorga, remember its always the fights that you don't see that are the classics..

That's weird how some months are loaded with fights every Saturday night, sometimes 2, or in July where there were 2 PPVs in 2 days, and then other months have little or nothing. You'd think promoters would want to fill potential empty weekends with name fighters to keep interest in casual fans, wouldn't you?
