    Speaking of ducking...

Who believes Lennox Lewis retired after his fight with Klitschko and therefore ducked him for a rematch. A rematched would of earned millions and millions but Lewis wanted Klitschko no more.....your thoughts please........

Oh yes I agree, Klitschko had him beat when they stopped the fight when he got head butted and had that nasty cut, right then and there Lewis said, Tank da Lord, Cause me was getting me arse whipped and will never do this again!!!!!

personally i think it's ludicrous to accuse people of ducking when they actually retire

As Roger Murtaugh once said: I'm too old for this ****!

          That was Lennox.

He should have retired after he beat Tyson but money and the boost in fame kept him in but I don't think he had the hunger after he beat Tyson. He stuck around as long as he did (which actually helped make him the great fighter he was with longevity) because he wanted the Legacy fight against Tyson, the big money and the fame he felt he deserved. Where Tyson burnt out quick because he got Fame and Fortune quickly, not getting noticed and pushed to the side helped Lewis stay on track (along with a good supporting team like his Mother).

Vitali just helped Lewis realize he didn't have the hunger anymore and couldn't get his body where he wanted to.

Vitali was also the challenger and lost by TKO.

I might have to agree with you. That cut is what probably saved Lewis from defeat. In fact, if there was a re-match and Klitschko did beat him, i think the "K" bros would have more street cred.

Yeah, but everybody's talking so and so is ducking so and so, I thought it would be interesting to change the topic away from Manny and floyd because we will be seeing and reading arguments about those guys for the next 6 months or longer.
