    Byrd-Rahman

During Sunday's telecast, Roy Jones Jr., doing what he does best, posed a hypothetical match-up between these 2 fighters who were victorious on King's marathon PPV show. This fight is very possible, as both are promoted by King and both are Ring Magazine Top 10 heavyweights. Who wins this fight between 2 fighters with very different styles? Rahman, an orthodox slugger with a good jab, fights more like a heavyweight. Byrd, a southpaw changeup artist, fights more like Paul Spadafora. My pick is Hasim Rahman by UD, that is if he is in shape. If not, Byrd skates by with a close split decision.

I like Byrd but I would agree with this.

Byrd-Ruiz should happen to unify the two titles. But of course King won't allow it.
