This man inspires terror into everyone from 147-168. Will someone please fight him!!!

This man is THE most avoided man in boxing. After beating Margarito in his plaster prime in an excellent bout. He lost in a lacklustre performance to Cotto victim Quintana. Nevertheless, he came back with a brutal 1st round KO, putting an end to that bad chapter. Moving up to 154 and 160 he has beaten veteran former champions Verno Phillips and Winky Wright in dominating fashion in some very exciting fights.

Still, noone will fight him. There is noone from 147-160 who wants to know. Arum would rather jump from a cliff into a vat of acid than put any of his fighters in with this man. I have no doubt that Cotto and Clottey would fight him... but this is the thing with Williams... he not only inspires terror into fighters, but their promoters as well. Nobody at 154 wants to know about Williams, despite the fact he is a welterweight. His sickening angle work, unbelievable work rate, vicious power, reflexes, willingness to mix it up on the inside, take the fight and control if from the outside, his strong chin and amazing heart will prove to be too much from them all. Some people on here hype fighters such as Martinez. Williams would make mincemeat out of Martinez's model looks. Williams TKO 10. Santos? He went toe to toe with Welterweight Margarito and won a very controversial technical decision. Williams UD 12. Dzinurk? Lmfao no, the ability of Williams to domintae his opponents at any range would leave the guy with no answers.

Don't even get me started on the Welterwieghts. I'm a big fan of all the top welters (apart from Berto - just holding that belt hostage - he's still green cry his supporters, he's not ready yet - well I contest that - he's the WBC world champion - FIGHT THE OTHER CHAMPIONS). The beating that Williams would administor to Cotto and Clottey doesn't bare thinking about. Let alone pretty bpy Floyd. You can't shoulder role all 1,000 punches Floyd, and your power mean NOTHING to the punisher.

    All in all.

'It's only boxing. Let's Fight' - Carl Froch.

-Edit- Well, Williams KOing Martinez in 10 appeared to be nonsense.

Paul Williams is the most talented boxer in the US. After seeing him handle Winky Wright, I'd like to see him fight people like Pavlik, Abraham, Dzinziruk, Forrest, Dirrell, Santos, Ward, etc.

I don't think anybody is going to defeat Williams during the next few years.

I'd like to see Cotto fight him, that would be a war! Obviously Mosley has been blatantly ducking him and Mayweather has ducked the whole division.

Lmfao. 'He needs to step his PPV up'.

Sure he does. Sure he does.

The very fact we are dicussing a WELTERWEIGHT fighting middleweights and supermiddleweights should tell you all you need to know about Williams:

              He is dangerous, very dangerous.

I'm tending towards agreement. Apart from PBF he is the most talented. But PBF would NEVER fight Williams even if Williams was the 7 times champion of the multiverse and had 4,000,000,000,000,000 people and other species watching his every fight at $1,000,000,000 a pop.

I think Williams has more pure talent than Mayweather, but Floyd, growing up with some of the best trainers as his father and uncles, has developed his talent to the fullest and so his technical skills are close to perfect.

And you're right, Floyd would never fight Paul Williams for any amount of money.
