I think some die hard boxing fans in the UK might catch this fight, but the promotion in London imho is gonna fail.

If they wanted to do 3 cities, they should did NYC, LA or some city in Texas, AZ or something.

Some of the ignorance on this forum is baffling.

Mexicans are hyped up for this fight ,they believe Marquez will win.Like it or not Floyd will sell everywhere,the homework has already been done.this fight will be watched from the UK to the Philipines and from China to Africa.Everyone wants to know about this fight.If you check any boxing forum you will notice the majority of threads have been about Floyd,Pacquiao,Hatton or Marquez.

I'll bet anyone anything the Mexicans will be interested in this fight- just like the Brits were when Hatton fought PBF. The fact is his mouth alone will sell this fight, it ain't a fraud fight- most people bar the Floyd haters are intrigued to see what will happen

hate to sound as if I'm trying to teach you something but you promote where you think you will need it the most. This fight is going to get the most sales from these boxers biggest fans i.e Mexico and South Western States and the North East where Floyd has a ton of fans.

They want to catch those markets that are on the borderline, i.e Europe...

I think people will be more interested in this fight than some people think. I think it might do more sells than people give it credit for. Like it or not Mayweather and Marquez are both big names in boxing and a matchup like this is a rarity nowadays.

Houston would have been the best city in texas! but pbf did put on a show for the uk fans and a million bout his ppv fight so why not tap that market.

we do have a small element of hardcore fans over here who stay up until 5am every time there's a fight on. plus Mayweather is one of the few recognisable names in boxing over here right now
