I have seen him recently at his promoted fights at stateline and there is no way he can be fighting again. Not professionally. Maybe in a club if someone bumps into him or something.

Vargas ain't looking to fight unless it's against a Taco Bell menu for denying him the ENTIRE dollar menu's worth of burritos.

i like to see boxers like him come back and see how the experience helps.. also as a little guy i want to see guys move up in weight and do well.. im very proud of james toney doing well as a heavyweight, id like to see floyd do it.. its one thing to blow up to fight at a bigger weight, its another thing to actually grow into the weight like toney. thats some cool ****

if vargas did whip himself back into shape he might not make 140 but hed be bigger and stronger so maybe he could hang at higher weights

i was under the impression that in order to have a comeback you must have had some sort of success before in your life. hmm. weird.

I dunno man he had a pretty hard time at middleweight. I think there are certain guys that get stronger as they move up, and certain ones (Vargas, Gatti, Hatton) that don't. I don't know why that seems to be the case, but...

A fight between Vargas and Arreola would be cool... for the Michelin Title
