Being shot is better than having a blood clot on your brain, I remember to this day GMan having trouble from the 3rd round on he looked strange his mouth piece was hanging out he was blinking a lot and every time he got hit with anything he reacted very strange it was obvious he was in trouble from the 3rd round i am still amazed that he was able to keep going and knock Benn down in the 8th.

froch got put down by taylor, now imagine taylors punching power times 5, maybe even ten fold

if this fight was real i'd put a bet that mcclellan would end it in the first round



as for nigel benn, gerald was winning the fight till his brain got all ****ed, and those massive heavy rabbit punches from benn did'nt help, and the ref that gave benn about 3 minutes to recover after a knockdown did'nt help neither, breakin up the fight outta nowhere...what a ******

Benn lasted more than 3 rounds so i think froch might be able to

Benn has a better defence than Froch and he is quicker of hand and foot. Benn's low bobbing style made it akward for a few people to hit him. He developed that low bobbing defensive style more after his losses to Eubank/Watson, its one of the reasons Eubank found him so hard to catch in the rematch fight, and why he arguably should of won that fight.


Benn was the worst type of opponent for McClellan. Eddie Futch even said that.

The shots Mcclellan was taking from Jackson would have put anybody else on the canvas. His chin was underrated. The fact that he stood upto numerous thunder shots from The Hawk was testament to that. I think it's fair to say that fight is the reason of his condition now. Facing Benn's power was just a topping of an unfortunate career.

I hate disrespectful posts directed at Mcclellan's state of living now.


Back to the topic, Mclellan KO in under 4.

Not to mention the amount of times Benn kept rabbit punching him HARD like a mother****er. That ref Alfred Asaro was easily the worst one I've ever seen - his French ass has Cortez, Nady and Cotton all beat.

I lost a lot of respect for Benn after the way he conducted himself in that fight, both during and after.

There both two of my favorite fighters, but benn did rabbit punch McClellan alot in that fight, the ref never warned benn once.
