It was stated the offer was 500k, which it probably was initially, but with Shaeffer confirming 1.2 million it goes to show how Kathy Duva has become a seasoned promoter and is able to skew and deceive the public into thinking the fight was too cheap for Adamek. Adamek's style is tailor made for B-Hop but at 44 years old, I don't think his legs can hold up. Excellent matchup either way and for the lineal CW title, what more do you want?

Adamek can make 500k fighting other fighters. When it comes down to it, I dont think Adamek needs Hopkins and that's how they are approaching it.
