One weakness of Pacquiao during those times was, he doesn`t know how to fight backing up. And if it was a re-match that took time, it was Morales who was actually ducking Pac. And Pacquiao had to take 2 (or 3, not sure) more tune-up fights (including Velasquez) before Morales even agreed for a rematch.

no ducking from either.
the 3 fights happened all within a year or so. only tuneups in between.
