One weakness of Pacquiao during those times was, he doesn`t know how to fight backing up. And if it was a re-match that took time, it was Morales who was actually ducking Pac. And Pacquiao had to take 2 (or 3, not sure) more tune-up fights (including Velasquez) before Morales even agreed for a rematch.
Will Pacquiao run from Mayweather like a ***** like he ran from Morales?

LOL
Pacquiao got his ass whooped by the washed up Morales.
Pac hasn't improved much at all, his opponents have gotten much worse. That was proved in the Marquez rematch when everyone expected Pacquiao to blow through Marquez since he was so much "improved" since their first fight.
Just so you know, the "Manila Ice" right hand was introduced in the first Morales fight. It was a FAIL then and it's a FAIL today. The only reason why people think he somehow got it to be effective recently is because his opponents can't box for ****.

He was past prime, perhaps washed up is a little too much.
Against Pacquiao, due to his work-rate and speed, even being slightly washed up is a severe handicap due to the reflexes needed to defeat someone like him. He's similar to Calzaghe, that he shines against past prime fighters and looks mediocre against anyone in their prime, for the very same reasons.
A prime Morales would not have lost more than 1 or 2 rounds to any version of Pacquiao.
The question is, will Pacquiao run like a ***** against Mayweather, like he did against Morales?Comment
