This article didn't say if they fight was officially back on or not.
Haha, I love posts like this, which put all the blame on Pavlik for not making the AA fight happen yet and none on Arum, Sauerland or Abraham. Pavlik obviously wants big fights, he always has stated he does, and when they put him in with big time fighters he has never bitched, even when it meant moving up 10 lbs above weight to fight a guy he really never had an obligation to fight, and who no one ever looks good against. Think before you put dumbass posts like this one on here.

Kelly is right not to take this fight it means nothing and he could lose everything to a no body from the contender show. I think he needs to fight AA, Sturm or P Will and win to gain back some repsect and confidence. We all gave JT alot of crap for who he beat after becoming UNDISPUTED MW CHAMP....But think about it JT had title deffenses against

        Hopkins - Top P4P
        Wright - Top P$P
        Ouma
        C Spinks - Former 154 title holder

Pavlik has only defended his title two times since winning it

Lockett - A nobody from the Enzo Calzaghe camp
Rubio - A tune up after a loss to B Hop

So after winning the 160lb title he is 3-1 and 2 of those wins are against no bodies. Guys we could do with out ever seeing in the boxing ring again much less seeing them fighting for the undisputed MW championship right. Even in his fight the 2nd one against JT it was close. So really Kelly the only ghost was have seen is a ghost of what you were beofre winning the MW championship. You gave JT alot of crap on your way up but in truth JT never ducked no one and who have you foguth since winning the MW titles? truth be told I call them how I see them....Lefty

So you put up Lockett and Rubio as his MW defenses.... THEN you mention the Taylor rematch, which close or not, he won. If I remember both Taylor's bouts with Hopkins were close as well, you forgot to mention that in the top part. You also forgot that Lockett was a Mandatory, Winky has been more of a Ghost then "The Ghost" since Kelly won the titles, and Ouma is no better than Rubio as an opponent at 160. To tell the truth, before the fight, if he was fighting Ouma, he probably woulda gotten more **** than if he fought Rubio. ALSO, you forgot that he only postponed Mora, he didn't cancel. Mora is a former 154 lb. title holder like Spinks... right? Damn, there's alot you're leaving out...Oh, and he went above his class to fight a guy who no one EVER looks good against, who almost beat Joe Calzaghe, in some eyes he DID beat Joe. You forgot that he took on Hopkins? Nah, you didn't forget. You just didn't mention it because from the get go your post hated on Pavlik no matter who he's fought or who he wants to fight. Please...

Pavlik will walk through Mora, needs Abraham

Clearly, this fight is another tuneup fight for Pavlik. Anyone who thinks Mora will win is either not being honest or they have no clue about boxing. But I agree, Pavlik needs to face Abraham soon and the promoters have milked the suspense too long.

It was thought of as a tune up but don't forget that Hopkins exposed Pavlik so bad that there is a huge blue print on how to make Pavlik look bad. I remember a few years ago, right after Mora won the Contender, Pavlik wanted to fight Mora and now he don't? Why the change of heart? Hopkins is the change of heart. Kelly needs more time to fix all that is broken and that ain't going to happen over night and if Mora were to beat Pavlik, how would that look for Pavlik? I don't think we will se Pavlik anytime soon. Back to the drawing board because the holes in Kelly's game have been opened up like a book with giant letters by Hopkins and his team of experts ****m Richardson and based on this, I was giving Mora a chance to win this one and he might have.

Maybe Pav was getting owned by his sparring partners
