    Fighters who make excuses

Is Ricky Hatton the master of excuses or someone else is?
When he fought Collazo the result is disputable.I had it for Collazo. The main problem is the excuses Hatton gave how he had a virus in training and also the weight affecting him as if he was the first fighter to move up in weight.

Hatton then fought Urango. All of a sudden the air conditioning was not good.'We wanted to pull out of the fight because Hatton was weakened'.

Then came the Mayweather fight.'Cortez didnt allow me to fight my fight and I'm not a 147lbs fighter. No one can beat me at 140lbs'.

The Lazcano fight was a bad fight for Hatton.Hatton was getting battered and then we heard another excuse that Hatton had a virusin training camp.

Now the Pacquiao fight and Hatton's camp was a mess.He went on telling anyone who would listen how this was a great camp. Now we have excuses.
Is Hatton the king of excuses or he has just been unfortunate with viruses everytime a fight comes.
Tell us of fighters who are good at giving excuses.

I think Hatton really believes that those are the main reason/excuse that he lost or performed below expectations. He's a proud man.

Excuse or reason however you look at it...

he is giving reasons...rick thought he should have performed better...he is not discrediting pac...he is thinking about the what if's etc. He wants to find answers as to "why?" and so do his fans. Maybe that is why there are 938465823658383 post about hatton excuses, losses, anger, flames, and bait threads. People want answers and want to discuss why it happened the way it did. They want a reason. (it is also amazing to me how hateful people in this forum are towards him after that fight...damn)

Weight for callazo, virus for lazcano, cortez could have been more lienient, etc etc....yes there were reasons why he under performed but this is fact: He beat pretty much everyone he has been up against and fought no matter what was happening with health, venue, weight, or training. Floyd who is incredible whooped him late and Manny (wow) was impressive.

I personally think that it is not the fact that ricky didn't follow what he was taught in training - i think he was flat...this happens in sport and sometimes you come out flat and need time to rev up....5 mins and 59 seconds was not enough time for him to rev up
