Cotto will probably try to win every other round after the sixth, he'll be somewhat tired from the high output in the early rounds. If he can hang through the 12th he wins on points. If he can't, Clottey may try to impose his size on the tiring Cotto and look for a possible stoppage. Sound familiar?

Nope I see Cotto fighting the exact way he did with Abdullaev.

Steady pace, because Clottey will never pess the action, with the Majority of the rounds.

In the mid ounds Clottey will try to step it up because he is way behind, he may win 1 or 2 of those rounds, tehn Cottos body punching and Clotteys bad stamina will take his toll, and Cotto will keep his pace, and he may step it up in the later rounds, winning a easy UD 116-112 or TKOing Clottey, because Clottey will be gassed out!!!!!!!!

His body punching will be key in the fight, if he can get through that Clottey defense. What about the Clottey "Quartey" like jab. Will that present any problems for the smaller Cotto?

I don't think Clottey will be able to put the kinda pressure that Marg put on Cotto so the question is irrelevant as it pertains to Clottey.

I agree, I know if I was in his situation and I KTFO of Clottey I would feel somewhat redeemed (to a certain degree, in knowing that Tony had problems with the Hitter).

Yeap. Thats the key punch for Clottey in this fight, not the uppercuts nor the staight right. The jab is teh key for him.

He needs to time Cotto and catch him with the jab to keep him of balance and to stop Cottos combination punching. Cotto have a good beard at 147 and Clottey is pillowed fisted, so he wont be able to hut Cotto. So he needs to pick his spots and counter puch pefectly everytime

So he needs to keep pomping that jab, and try a sneaky right hand every now and then. try to run some combinations when he can also. He needs to cover his body more than his face in this fight, cuz I have seen that he is wide open fo left hooks to the body

1 poblem I see for Clottey is that his best weapon is his left hook and Cotto never gets hit with left Hooks!!!!!!

You don't think Clottey could hurt Miguel??? The fool comes into fights at 170lbs. And Cotto's been hurt at Jr Welter and Welter (Margarito). Tony's not a big one punch puncher, but he's a big Welter and I think Clottey's bigger than him frame-wise.

Don't get me wrong, I'm backing Cotto in this one and I hope he wins in impressive fashion. I'm backing this fool as if he's Mexicano, **** I don't care. But I think Clottey may present some serious issues for him. I can't wait for the fight, it should be a good one.
