Haye won the undisputed CW title, so he had to have done sumthin right. Who cares if he 'earned' a shot or not? This is the only HW fight anybody cares about and it's a big win for Wlad if he beats him.

      Exactly.

I hate the idea that Haye needed to "earn a shot".

Yeah, I mean, there are just so many other awesome contenders out there, how could the undisputed Cruiserweight champion be worthy?

yeah but who cares about boxing and the fans. the klitschkos are above boxing so it doesn't matter if ppl are actually interested in this fight. the growth of boxing is far less important than the klits personal agenda.

Haye should have fought at least one good, top ten heavyweight: Arreola, Ruiz, Chambers, Povetkin, Peter, Gomez, Thompson, Dimitrenko, etc.

I remembered he promised he'd fight two top ten heavyweights.

Old, washed up Mormeck is the only good win on his resume.

The win over Maccarinell is overrated. Macca is a glass chinned bum that hasn't beaten anybody with a pulse. he suffered his 3rd KO loss a few weeks ago to some feather fisted unknown African. The unknown African came into the fight with just 5 KO's on his record, he 1 punch KO'd Macca.

The KO win over Barrett proved absolutely nothing. Barrett is an old, shot gatekeeper that was coming off a 2nd round KO loss to Cliff "19 losses" Couser. The bum Barrett still managed to knockdown and hurt Haye.

Haye dosen't deserve all the hype he is getting. He's just another glass chinned British hypejob.

            Wlad will destroy this Fraud
His resume is weak indeed but let's face it. So is the whole fucking division. Most fans are more excited about this HW fight than they have been (for a HW fight) in years so let's fookin' 'ave it as Ricky would say..

I don't get why the HW division should be treated differently than the other divisions.

When a guy unifies a division and then moves up it is very common for him to immediately be given a shot at the man in the higher division.

I might think differently if HW was stacked with good contenders with very solid records, but it isn't. What you have is two very dominant champions, a few old guys hanging on and several younger guys who really are yet to face good enough opposition themselves to command a shot.

Haye deserves his shot, end of.

He's not 'getting' hype, he's creating it. That's the whole point, and why Wlad is fighting him; Haye has created a HW fight that people actually want to see. Add that to the 'trivial' fact he was undisputed CW champ, no matter how good or bad his resume might be, and he 'deserves' the shot more than any of the otherwise suitably worthy nobodies Wlad might be fighting instead...which is why he has got it.

What's the beef, anyway? Go to the fight, soak up what will no doubt be a fantastic atmosphere, and watch your guy KO the 'hypejob' - if you are so confident that's what will happen.....

i hate haye and wlad is one of my fav fighters, but wlads resume could be considered weak too. they both fought everyone they could, and looked pretty good doing it. this is a big fight. their resumes are about as good as they can be without fighting each other. wlad could have avoided the sanders loss, and who knows what happened to him with brewster.

regardless, both of these guys are kind of on top of the world right now. this is the best fight in a long while. you are gonna detract from haye but isnt that detracting from wlads victory as well? haye may have a weak resume but you can watch him fight and tell hes a good fighter. same with wlad. this is a huge win for either of them.

                      just my take.
