Diaz stood toe to toe with Michael Katsidis and he is a slugger, and like stated on another thread, he was doing well against marquez but just ran out of gas. I hope they make this fight happen.

unless the JMM fight took something out of him he would annihilate Valero

two different levels of boxer. in my opinion.

Edwin has fought a bunch of rice burner japs. He really hasnt fought any one of high caliber.

Valero!!! Diaz solely relies on his punch output! After the KO loss to JMM, he'll be on defensive mode once he feels Valero's punch! KO in 7.

I personally think Diaz pounds the piss out of Valero. Valero is very offensive minded, but Diaz has a good chin, is faster and will overwhelm him IMO.

At this point I consider Valero a prospect, but not on Diaz's level.

it all depends on whether or not diaz can handle valero's power. I would risk it if I were diaz's manager

That Mexican pussiboi would throw a thousand soft punches, but the venezolano would throw the stuff that hurts.

I got Valero in this one.

He showed me more in 1rd knocking out Pitalua than Diaz has shown me winning 3 belts. You can say this and that about Valero's speed or lack thereof...and his opposition but he proved to me he actually does have excellent technique and knowledge to go along with that murderous punching power...and that is a more dangerous combination than anything i've ever seen out of Juan Diaz.
