Penalosa is a warrior!!! 115 -118 is good for him. He should have never fought Juan Ma at 122...he was way too big for him.

this is a fairer fight because juanma is huge, but penalosa should retire

Nobody knocking him out at 115-118. Gerry should kick ass in this division he will be relaxed and take more risks. Im sure he is more confident after the fact Juanma could not even knock him down.

These Morel, and Montiel, matchups are 4 years too late for Penalosa.

He ignored these 2 at supafly, in the vain attempt to challenge Rafa Marquez at 118... circa 2005.

Thanks to JuanMa's rude awakening, he's finally realised that he's too small at 122.

Lopez took a ton outta Gerry. I don't think he could beat the winner of this fight.

He'd be a very cool match-up for the winner (hoping that'll be Montiel)

I mean, I don't want to guy to damage himself too much at this point in his career but if he's intent to keep fighting I wouldn't say no to a Morel/Montiel v Penalosa match-up

..after that beatdown from JuanMa, plus his advanced age, i dunno what's left of him.

i don't think either of those guys can hurt penalosa. hella of a chin he showed in the lopez fight. That was the first time he was stopped.
