BTW did anyone actually think Castillo beat Casa, because i dont, and i think Casa should of lost to Nate Campbell.

        absolutely

JLC did a lot of bodywork and yes while Casa landed the cleaner shots he clearly wasn't active enough

        7-5 if I remember correctly

Well imo Castillo was not the effective aggressor, that is why i did not have him winning the fight. Casa landed the cleaner more accurate shots, and Castillo was the ineffective aggressor.

Its like Camacho vs Mancini. Mancini forced the fight, but it was all uff and puff like Castillo, he did not get anything done.

IMO to leave no doubt about Mayweather he would need to

            look good in beating JMM
take on 2 of the following

            Cotto
            Mosley
            Pacquiao

            and beat them.
That would definitely add to his legacy and if and how he beat them may well complete it, especially the pac fight, but for me if he wants to mentioned among the best of all-time (im talking 1-10) he has to take on a fight like leonard taking on hagler, now im not comparing paul williams to hagler, but...if he went up to 154 and beat him, that would be seriously impressive.

For this fight to take place though a few things have to happen, floyd has to get passed the afformentioned names, plus williams needs to keep winning in style, and unify 154.

disagree I think the activity level of Casa is what caused him the fight to be honest

You could have scored the fight for casa, I know a lot of people who thought he took it, i'l have to watch it again as its been a long time, but from what I remember it could have easily gone either way...casa definitely landed the better shots, but if you fight the entire fight off the back foot the decision can go against that fighter unless they show they are completely dominating and casa was far from completely dominating

I agree. Dont get me wrong neither of them did enough to say they categorically won the fight, but i thought Castillo was as ineffective as Joe Calzaghe against B Hop as the aggressor.

I cant give rounds for hustle and bustle. It could of gone either way though.

I think most knew 140 was just a stopping point and eventually he would move to 147. Ideally, he would end up fighting the best at 147 but so far we haven't gotten that
                    \

in 2006-2007 who were the best fighters at 147.

                    this should be fun
