Cotto, Valero are Both Options For Pacquiao, Says Arum

Everybody is pushing for Floyd vs Pac for obvious reasons but in Cotto vs Pac you have the potential for a really explosive back and forth fight of the type we expected from Hatton vs Pac. If it lasts a round or more longer than that fight, it should really be something to see.Last edited by Matisyahu; 05-13-2009, 10:19 AM.Comment

Pac vs Cotto is the fight I want to see. Pac vs Floyd is not going to live up to the hype just like Trinidad vs De La Hoya. Floyd is going to run and the fight will be boring like hell and is not going to help boxing grow. Sure the fight will get a lot of buys but people will leave disappointed. Cotto and Pacquiao are younger and their match would be the biggest and most exciting fight this decade.Last edited by Jabrony; 05-13-2009, 03:47 PM.Comment

pac/cotto at a catchweight is not a bad fight and in many ways will be much more exciting than pac/pbfComment

Valero vs Pacquiao!! That should be interesting, more interesting than Pac vs Floyd. Though Valero leave himself wide open but with a good distance, he would make a good fight depending on how he takes Pac's speed n handles it. I wouldn't mind seein this one @ all. Even though Valero never went to a decision lets see what he got.Comment

Have at it boyz! My money stays in my pocket!Comment

Cotto is more dangerous than Floyd.
Pac isn't like Floyd to pick Israel Vasquez at 122. He will fight Miguel Cotto not a 122 pounder.Comment

Why does Arum say these fights always have to be in Las Vegas. Boxing fights used to be events! The thrilla in Manilla, Rumble in the Jungle. Now everything is at the MGM grand, the most characterless arena in the world. I know it because of some sort of financial reason but why turn down fighting in the Cowboys' stadium when the other option is in front of 13000 people at the MGM. Let's have Floyd Manny in Manilla.Comment
