The only two guys that shouldnt be at that weight are Clottey and Williams.

my point is cotto wouldnt be able to make middleweight and be effective the same way marquez wouldnt be able to go to welterweight or in this case 143 lbs and be a top 5 or so fighter.

the fight is a tune up, floyd aint a coward but still it's not a cool move. Think of pavlik fighting cotto at 157, that's a fair comparison.

Larryx you are trying to hard.
First Cotto will never fight at MW, his body simply wont allow him to do so.

Second, Cotto is fighting the best WWs right now, no need for him to fight them id he fights at MW.

Third, Floyd is a damn coward for being a WW for 4 years now and trying to fight a career FW, who has not not fought above 135 at WW, period.

Damn men you just became a cheerleader and dmn obsses to try and protect FLoyd.

he is a damn coward period. he just to be good fighting good fights, since the Castillo fight he ahsnt done **** and he has refuse to fight true fights!

Its a hypothetical question, with a agenda behind it. Wich is cry about Floyd being called a coward for fighting JMM at WW.

2005,2006,2007. thats 3 years right there.

When I have said Cotto fighting Pac man is a OK?

I have always said that I prefer Mosley/Cotto or *****Weather/Cotto.

But Mosley ***** out of the rematch because it was being held in NY and Floyd has never wanted Cotto.

And by the way, pacquiao just blasted out in 2 rounds the lineal JWW champ, so the logical move is to move up in weight. So fighting Cotto or Mosley, wont be as bad as Floyd fighting JMM at WW.

Cotto and "coward" don't belong in the same sentence.
