Clottey is a damn good fighter and a high risk fight for Cotto

He has a very good chin and general toughness, Great defence, decent dig in both hands, is Bull strong, weighs up to 170lbs come fight time, throws great uppercuts which is bad news for Miguel, works the body good and can counter effectivley - he aint bad!

As for the Judah fight that was the best Zab ive seen in a long time and while he had his moments Clottey was in control and taking over clearly

Cotto took a knee while clottey finished the fight. Really clottey wasnt even a bloody mess like cotto.

Seriously why is everyone hyping this guy to beat cotto? who has he beaten? a over the hill lightweight diego corrales, cant say he really beat judah when the fight was stopped on cuts, even then i think the fight was close. He didnt do crap against plasterito but complain and make excuses about the loss. Guy is a B level fighter, great defense terrrible offense. Cotto will beat this guy easily on points.

He aint overrated, he just get overhyped by cats who hates cotto or simply have the image of Cotto losing to Margo in his head.


Anyways, Clottey is very strong and have a good defense. he have a poor workrate and a poor stamina. He is a very decent counterpuncher, and have good hand speed. Not that much power tho.

Cotto is better than him in every category except for strength and Defense. But those 2 categories are CLotteys strong points and it can show in the fight with a upset.

Anyways I got Cotto winning a clear UD or a Late TKo do to body shots!!!!!
