But Floyd hasn't fought that style in quite some time.His last few fights we see him looking to land the right lead and throwing a check left hook.Afterwards he goes into his defensive shell.Marquez has a very good chance of winning if he fights this style.

I like JMM but the fact that PBF is born to do this and he's the best at his weight class;(when he's not running)JMM doesn't have a chance. I know Gayweather has been training because he looked very thin during the press conference.

Okay, here are the keys to this fight. I love it when Floyd is more active because it's a beautiful thing to watch, but the truth is that size, reach and defense will win the day.

Did you see in the press conference when PBF grabbed Marquez by the shoulders and turned him around? That was a foreshadow. He will be imposing. Marquez being the smaller man will definitely have to reach to land the same shots he landed on Diaz. Everyone knows that PBF is a brilliant counter-puncher. When Marquez reaches, that's when he will get caught with the right hooks and uppers. Yes Marquez is a very active fighter but nobody is going to land a bunch of shots against his impregnable defense (thanks Mike Tyson).

Marquez's best shot is that upper-cut. His best chances to land it are when Floyd reaches for the body jab or when he bends over in that defensive posture. Don't forget, Diaz was winning that fight but dude takes way too many shots. A lot more than Floyd will take.

Because of the ring rust and Mexican pride, I say that Floyd doesn't get the knockout but a unanimous decision which will bring on the wrath of Larry Merchant and his little sidekick Emanuel Stewart. Probably more than when he fought Baldomir.

I like Marquez. I think he is a great fighter and the #2 p4p fighter in the world. He is my second favorite fighter. I think he beat Pacquaio the second time, the first was a draw and he would beat Pacquaio in a third fight.

However, Mayweather is my favorite fighter and he is #1 p4p emeritus (only because he retired). I think Mayweather will beat him, possibly stop him late. Don't be fooled by the layoff. Mayweather will have enough sparring in preparation for this fight that it won't make a difference.
