I'm pretty sure the only people that were excited at that fight were Taylor fans. Until the later part of the fight Froch had close to nothing to cheer for or to be excited about, and if you were excited then it was probably when Froch touched the canvas.
Froch wasn't that unsuccessful in the fight. And the excitement for a Froch fan was seeing him undeterred, gradually getting to Taylor and the sense that something BIG was coming late in the fight.
And Dawson should be able to get more up for a rematch with Glen Johnson if it ever happens, because a lot of people thought he lost their first fight. He's got a record to put straight.
