Why is it that PAC has such a tough time with counter-punchers?

Back then you can say it was due to his over-aggressiveness, but watching his second fight against Juanita, PAC has improved but is still getting countered.

I can no longer say that the blame goes to PAC's super tenacity. I think the problem is that PAC ain't got a jab, so a fighter like Juanita doesn't even worry about a jab, he knows PAC goin' for that bomb and Juanita just allows the punch to go by him and boo-ya Juanita comes in w/ his counters

BUt, if PAC had a good jab, Juanita or any counter-puncher will not have that easy of a time catching PAC. Discuss

Pac can box now, but he still boxes goin forward almost all the time. When you always go forward and throw hard shots, skilled or not, you're gonna eat counters against a guy who's good enuf to feed em to ya.

He bounces in and throws and then bounces out to safety. That bounce out lends its self to being countered.

because he is very active with the straight left and JMM is a very good counter puncher.

I think Mangler is partly right. Also I think it may be that Pac has become some what of a counter puncher himself and hasn't realised it yet. I think Roach has changed Pac's identity and Pac hasn't fully accepted it yet.

Because JMM`s handspeed is second, if not equal to Pac`s. That`s why Pacquiao risks being hit in order to hit. Or else JMM will just box him all night.
