Painfull to watch...Not much power,doesn't let his hands go and seems to lack a killer instinct. This guy is NOTHING 2 be excited about!

His best fight was wit Glen. I thought he lost, but it was excitin as hell cuz Glen brought out the best in him. He can be excitin if matched against the right opponent.

True...Styles make fights but let's face it some fighters are just not 2 exciting no matter who they with and for HBO to waste millions on Dawson and this NONSENSE rematch was ******ED! You know how many good fights HBO could buy for the millions spent on Dawson? Maybe a Valero-Soto fight, or Linares-Guerrero or Bradley-Ortiz fights that would get a viewers attention not falling asleep in the 7th round.

I didnt want to see the rematch, but HBO is all about names, they will reject better matchups in favor of names they know the casual public are familiar with. I dont recall people saying Dawson was boring before Tarver, Tarver has never been knocked out, never seriously hurt really and fights to survive, its hard to knockout people like that.

People say Ward was boring his last fight, even though he threw from round 1 to 12, but was in against a guy who covered up and was there to not be knocked out, you wont look good against the majority of guys like that.

I think he is exciting and really skillful to watch.The only problem is he lacks a bit of ko power, and really needs to face somebody like Joe Calzaghe and possibly Bernard Hopkins.I thought he won the fight against Glen Johnson, so I have no dramas there.
Other than that , he might have to drop down a division.

Ya that was HBO's downfall to sagging ratings cuz they didn't care about good fights just names which is ******ED! That's why we saw RJJ- vs a N.Y. cop,Berto-Rodrguiez,Pavlik-Lockett that HURT the sport so much. ****** HBO could have had Forch-Taylor and Johnson-Adamek all on the same card for less money than they gave to Dawson and would have had 2 KICK A** fights!

Yep, can you imagine that card? Would have brought new fans to the sport. They try to make stars by having them against weak opposition or old names. I prefer Showtime, I really wouldnt mind paying for a PPV from Showtime because I know the undercard would be good.
