I think Chad is real talented and has decent power. I didn't watch this fight at all because I saw the first one and knew it would be similar. From what I'm reading, I was right, but people seem to forget he convincingly won the first one and this was a contractually obligated fight. I'm pretty sure Chad wasn't as motivated for this second fight knowing how unnecessary it was and dominant he was in their first encounter. I think he should fight Bhop or move down to 168 and clean house there. As much as I wouldn't mind Chad giving Glen Johnson another shot. I believe Glen lost the first fight, not by much, but a loss is a loss and Chad should move on to better things.

This is his problem. No one wants to hear about a "soft spoken family man", or at least I don't. This is a fighting sport with lives at stake. If he was just as loud as Mayweather or Tarver people would be buzzing about him. THIS is why Mayweather is so good at getting HATERS. Because he talks **** and who ever agrees to step in the ring ALWAYS gets the "L".

If Dawson had a mouth he would be getting more play. People would want to hear and see what its all about. But since hes the "soft spoken" type. No ones really interested..... yet. Hey he fought Johnson. Joe Calzaghe didn't even do that. Hopkins did but that was what 12 years ago at MW....

But no hate to the guy if this is the road he wants to take then by all means. I would rather be the villain and talk loads of ****. People tend to BUY the PPV just so they can see you get KTFO...... again, reason PBF has so many haters. They spend money to see him lose but it never happens. I would be mad too.....

Dawson is too young in the sport to be hated yet. He's done a good job so far in my eyes. Dudes only 26, he can only get better......

This is true but he's not, yet. This is why I think he needs to "talk" more. He needs to learn to sell himself both in and out of the ring.

If Chad started bagging spectacular KOs rather than 12 round decisions, there'd be more buzz about him. Trash talk isn't needed to be a super star. e.g. Pacquiao.

That said, a fighter usually has a killer mentality or he doesn't. Darchinyan has it. Not sure Chad does (even though he has excellent skills).
