Why is team Pavlik being so secretive about how he cut his hand?

First Pavlik does not attend the press conference with Mora and then does not actually go to the doctors until a week after the problem. He cuts his hand, then says it got infected and then waits a week to get it checked out? I think he is afraid to get re exposed by Mora. No one has seen the hand in question and team Pavlik is UNWILLING to comment on anything.
Something fishy going oh here guys.

I picked Pavlik to beat Hopkin's I don't think I have ever been so wrong about a prediction in all my freakin life. I mean seriously, I had my jaw on the floor when I saw the schooling Pavlik got at the hands of Hopkins.

No one said he was afraid of Mora, I said he was afraid of Mora's style. Mora does not come forward and could make this a very boring and maybe even frustrating fight for Pavlik. We all seen the kinks in Pavlik's style and surely there has to be something there that Mora can exploit. Hopkins left a lot of of design in that blue print in case you missed that fight.
