Floyd spanks Marquez back down featherweight

Post Conference interview Marquez "I just wanted to show you that I can hang with the best even though I lost and also show Pacquiao that I am brave enough to get in the ring with Mayweather. Since I lost I still want Pacquiao and I hopes he wants me. Pacquiao please fight me, please Pacquiao. I dont have anymore options unless Delahoyas comes back from retirement and wants to fight me. Or maybe Hatton is willing to fight me, but I really want you Pacquiao. Please Pacquiao, I cant sleep at night. I need you Pacquiao. Your the only fighter that makes me look good.

See a therapist already!!! Its starting to make you look sick.

"Cherry-picking"?? For all those who consider manny the actual lb-4-lb best..then is it me or were his last 2 opponents the same last two opponents who fought and subsequently LOST to mayweather??..Correct me if Im wrong but doesnt that make "king manny" a so called cherry picker as well. Everybody says floyd shouldve came out of mini-vaca against cotto but didnt he have a deal in place to fight clottey months ago??..and shane..well he's publicly admitted to awaiting the winner of pac-man vs hatton..so I guess he's "cherry-picking" while looking to cash in on a mega pay day.Margarito was last seen getting his dome bashed in & serving a suspension for loaded hand wraps so who does that leave as world class opposition in the ww class that's going to bring enough to the table to warrant an 8 fig payday b/c love it or hate it once you've fought for 15..20mil you're not going back to fighting for 4 or 5. Berto's camp wont put them in the ring w/ mayweather (cause honestly he's probably not ready) & mayweather won't consider fighting berto cause he's still up & coming and won't generate enough pesos. That only leaves williams who on1 wants to face including all of your other fav fighters.

If Marquez goes looking for a war, he's gonna get stopped early.

It's not a good idea to look for a war with Mayweather...He will just run and counter punch and Marquez will look like a B- fighter. Marquez has to be smart if he want to be victorious July 18th.

we like JMM, but the whining has got to stop, it lowers his status, a man should accept defeat imo

First of all Floyd moves well enough that he is not gonna get into a dog fight with JMM. Also that is not JMM style anyway, he is gonna do what he does and conuterpunch and stay in the pocket. No telling what the layoff has done to Floyd and he has always does not counterpunch a stiff fast jab(watch vs DelaHoya and Judah). A good big man always beats a good small man

I'm not just saying that to be a **** either. Mayweather is
the best and everyone knows it no matter how people discredit
him and says he doesn't fight the best. Juan is one of my favorite
fighters but Floyd is too good for JMM. JMM gets tagged by lesser
fighters and put down on the mat. Floyd is going to make JMM
pay everytime he throws a shot. I see a lot fo people posting
always saying Floyd runs but if you stop talking about the De La
Hoya fight you would know that for one Floyd was boxing a bigger
man and also you should know that Marquez is not 5'10" and weigh
160lbs. Floyd is going to man handle JMM and it will be a win by KO.
I know a lot of you HOPE he will pull an upset but Floyd last performance
was knocking an undefeated fighter out and taking his "0" wasn't a
De La Hoya fighting Steve Forbes. I predict JMM will fight his heart
out but will clearly be over his head come fight night.
your wrong, right now the PACMAN is the BEST, and yes your boy did NOT fought the best to be considered the BEST.

I still cannot understand how people still claim that Money will easily win this fight, the size is the only issue I see here, as far as age goes, Money ain't no spring chicken either, aren't they like only 3 years apart? the only real advantage I see is that JMM has been in more wars than Money but then again Money is not a pressure fighter and the pace of the fight will be dictated by JMM, and although he loves to brawl he's a tactical fighter who can time his shots and knows exactly where to place them, this won't be a taxing fight like it was against Diaz where he had to fight Diaz's fight at hyper speed. I'm not saying Money can't win, obviously he can, but it still fathoms me that even JMM supporters are picking Money to win big.
