this is actually not true I have heard from several people I trust that they wanted Shane all along but the money for both would have been far too signifigant to put on right now so they offered Floyd two fights, first with JMM then with Shane and he balked because he wanted to keep his options open once he beats JMM. Add to that Mayweather HATES Oscar and he will try and screw with him and his company in every way

you would think a fighter that hasn't fought in LA since his fight with DLH, is based not too far from LA, and whose company resides in LA, would have a packed house at Staples (about 19000) let alone Home Depot (about 8000) Center for a fight with a trash talking wild swinging mad man?

Uhhmmmmm, only one problem with this story. "Guarantees" are made by the lead promoter. Mayweather Promotions is the lead promoter. Is floyd making that guarantee to himself? And by chance if it only does 400k or 500k buys, where exactly is the $15 million gonna come from? lol

Now if this promotion does 750k buys or better, Floyd makes $15 million easy, maybe even $20 million. But as the lead promoter, he cannot "guarantee" himself anything. It all depends on the ppv buys......
