Are you a bigger fan of Cotto or Floyd?

Floyd said that the reason he never fought Cotto is because Cotto doesn't have a fan-base... I find that hard to believe, I think Cotto has a bigger fan-base then Floyd atleast on boxingscene. Lets see what a poll says, is floyd right or wrong.

well as a depressed hatton fan, id say floyd simply because he has accomplished more than cotto. i think cotto let himself down in the margarito fight. people may say plaster of paris and all that BS, but as of today there is no proof, so i say floyd. but i will still stay up until 4am to watch either of them. cotto cracked margarito so many times and he couldnt drop him, and then ran out of gas towards the end. I just wonder if this will happen again when cotto faces someone with a decent chin and boxing skills. where as floyd has won 38 of his 39 fights pretty much unquestionably.

I understand what you are saying there. Floyd sayin hes better than everbody in history and all that, but thats not what its about. its about who is the best boxer, not who is the most fan pleasing or stuff like that. I am a neutral on this and i can say unequivacly that floyd is better by quite a distance. he has proven that with his 39-0 record. and a record with some top boxers on it. dont get me wrong tho, i like cotto, but he aint comparing to floyd to well at the moment.

I expect Mayweather to evolve as a fighter in the next couple of fights...

He has to compare himself to the greats before him to hype himself up so hopefully it motivates him to become one of them

Cotto fought a BUM IN jENNINGS at MSG and drew 12K. Ask yourself would PBF draw 12K vs Jennings without HBO,24/7 and vs a BUM? NOPE!!! Cotto fought Margo when no one else would. Now he's fighting another guy no wants to fight in Clottey. Cotto fights the best and that's enough for me. He doesn't cry and make excuses like Gayweather. Cotto like Pac is CLASS and PBF is TRASH!
