You noticed when grandpa, Baldomir hit mayweather, how his face look in horror, that is why he is always running, he scare to death to get hit, did you notice too in the first round with hatton, that he was going down and was save by the ropes, even larry merchant mention it, thrust me a fight with cotto, is going to be a nightmare for floyd. once he get hit a couple of times his speed is gone, with no gas.

Mayweather has proven throughout his career that he can take big punches and also that he has the defensive skills so he doesn't have too!!

Floyd is a defensive wizard and has a solid chin. I wouldn't call it great or excellent but its pretty reliable. I don't think Baldomir's punches ever hurt him but I do believe his strength may have bothered Floyd. A similar thing happened against Oscar - towards the end of round 11 - when De La Hoya landed a pretty good right square on his jaw. Floyd took the punch well but, judging by his reaction, he knew he couldn't get caught with too many of those. The fact that he doesn't is what makes him so great.

That is what makes him a good fighter. It's like he takes stock of the punch and evaluates it. No red midst for Mayweather.

The fact that nobody knows really if he has a good chin is testament to how good he is, most of the time you couldn't hit him with a bag of rice, and when he does take one-shot he goes into safe-mode and won't put himself in the position to take another one. I'm sure he is a great chin but who knows, we know it's not Khan chin though for certain because Corley would have put Amir Khan out cold with that shot, so would Judah, Castillo, etc.

Truth,also, PBF, never went to the canvas. He took good shot against Castillo and he wasn't hurt at all.
