If Floyd is a 147 pounder why hasn't he fought anyone good at 147? Cotto is a 147 pounder who has taken all challengers put in front of him. Pac going up to face Cotto is just another way of showing the people he is a warrior and will to face anyone. Yeah, he could lose and probably should be the underdog in that fight but this is what boxing is supposed to be. We want to see fighters pushed to their limits. Both Pac, Cotto, and Mayweather have been fighting for a long time now, its time to put up or shut up. I'm sure Pac has sparred against 147 pounders a time or two so he know what he'll be getting into.

I see your point but money has a way of blurring reason. Cotto and Mosley would be the logical choice in the WW division. Pac and Mayweather would be at a disadvantage at 147 but I say if you can't stand the heat get out of the frying pan.

yep, and pac isn't even competing at at 147, but floyd is a WW.

i get that money blurs reason, but if the fighters agree to come down and fight at a catchweight, then I don't understand why people keep saying pac should move up to 147.
