Pac-Cotto wins it....
Cotto was a skelton at 140.....Hes been at WW for some years now...comfortably.....and now Pac wants him to be 142 pounds!!!
Thats a huge advantage for Pac.........and it shouldnt even ben sanctioned.
Cotto will get seriously hurt if he fights pAcman at 142 pounds.

The whole weight issue is being blown way out of proportion. Pacquiao is one of the very few fighters in history who's proven he gets stronger and faster as he goes up in weight while still in his prime. The usual scenario is a fighter moving up in weight and not being able to carry over any speed or power which has been debunked by Pacquiao's last 3-4 fights. I don't see why there's is this huge outcry for Pacquiao facing Cotto being this huge mismatch and Floyd fighting Pacquiao being the greatest thing since internet ****. Both are very intriguing and big money fights, but one guy isn't a mismatch over the other by any means. Pac's proven he could technically fight at the WW limit, why not try and fight the best in that division?
Now Floyd fighting Marquez (the lightweight champion who's NEVER fought at WW) and making him come up in weight to fight what many on here presume to be a "smaller" Floyd calls for a "WTF" more than Pac facing Cotto or Floyd at this point considering both Roger and Floyd have called Marquez the "Small Guy". LOL...does anyone else besides me see beyond the clouds of misjudgment?Last edited by Ravishing; 05-11-2009, 03:33 PM.

In boxing it is known that it is harder to drop weight and move down, then to come up. This was pointed out to me before the Oscar-Pacman fight, and I didn't listen. Cutting weight can always be a factor.
If you are the better man and fight the right fight a smaller man can win, although the larger man does end up with a pretty large advatange if everything is equal but size. A drained fighter even if he is the better man, is one that is usually easy to beat.
