What I'm saying is what makes a Cotto fight a mismatch if both he and Floyd would be fighting Pacquiao at the same weight? So being Floyd hasn't fought at 140 since 2004, is it safe to say he gets KO'd weighing in at 143 and KO's Pac at 147?Comment

If he goes back down to 142, I think he will get KTFO. His chin at that weight is bad.Comment

Every fighter grows differently in the sport whether it be moving up 2 weight classes or 6 weight classes. Pacquiao is one of those oddities we don't see every generation to where he performs at a high level at each weight class. Cotto did start at 140 and has only moved up one weight class, but that automatically means he can't fight Pacquiao? That's like saying Hatton shouldn't have fought Pacquiao because Hatton didn't have a stellar career at 122lbs, that didn't seem to affect Pacquiao at all.Comment

It's irelevant, Floyd hasn't fought at that weight since 2003, we're in 2009 now. If Floyd were this smaller guy, why is he still fighting technically at the Welterweight limit?

Your trippin. Cotto doesn't even weigh in at 147 for his welterweight fights. He comes in at 146-145. Based on that Cotto can come in 143-144 easy without being hurt by it.Comment
