    Juan Diaz

I cant help but notice this about Diaz. This guy is such a great talent that goes all out like a madman in the ring, but he cant fight with a cut. Against Campbell and Marquez he was pretty much dominating with his pressure and having his way till he got cut then he took a beating by both. I cant help but wonder where Diaz would be at this moment had he not had those 2 cuts and beaten those 2 guys? any chance hed be the guy fighting Mayweather right now? Surely hed be having a very big fight right now.

I hear ya on this homie. Diaz fighting Mayweather makes sense had Diaz beat Marquez, since we all know Mayweather is using this as a tuneup i think Diaz coulda done a good jon on Mayweather with that pressure. Shame Diaz cant fight with a cut.

Its just deppresing knowing withou the cuts he probably wins those fights. But cuts are a part of the game and its a pretty dumb excuse but its true.

Yea, its a bit of a shame because his style is so fun to watch. Doesn't have great, or even good power, but he throws and throws and throws.

But once he gets a scratch, he loses all focus.

Maybe his mom babied him too much, I'm not sure but its something you think wouldn't affect anyone fighting for a living.

          Still like him though.

Exactly, i mean Marquez is considered to be #2 p4p and diaz was handling hm just fine!

**** happens in boxing. Cutmen get paid to do a job just like fighters do. Sumtimes they overcome, sumtimes not.

Diaz was definently going head up with both men when the cuts occurred. My guess is iff the cuts hadnt occurred Diaz might have been able to pull out the Campbell fight, but would still more than likely lost to Marquez who is just a slow starter.

diaz is a gatekeeper. when he stepped up to the 2 best lightweights at the time he lost.

                  floyd would toy with diaz.

Marquez was starting to fight a home for the left hand so that fight could have changed but i still had diaz winning almost every round.
