    Judahs career path,

How much better would it have been had he rid himself of Yoel about 6 years ago?

I think his dad is a horrible trainer with no foundation.

Who do you think would have been a better fit for someone with such a fragile mindframe like Zab and how would things have been different?

    Great thread.

Yoel is a **** trainer, no doubt.

Zab would've benefitted greatly by switching trainers.

As for who would've been a better trainer for him, I'm inclined to pick Emmanuel Steward on this one.

He's calm, cool, collected, and knows how to get what he needs out of a particular fighter. I think he would be able to keep Zab's temper cooled down to a mimimum, so that he could focus and perform better.

As for how it would've been different, I'm not sure.

Maybe he wouldn't have done the "chicken dance"?

This is an interesting topic but in all honesty Judah is just a good fighter in a great division. Unless he hired a trainer that could fix his attitude, I doubt you would see a lot of change.

Those were my thoughts for the exact same reasons. Zab has all the physical tools, but his mental capacity is seriously lacking. Yoel is just all wrong for him, too much chaos going on in that corner to truly be effective. Always yelling and getting out of hand.

You're right though, it does nothing for his chin, but I think he could have been a bigger force had he switched to someone else.

Naz would have been a good choice too.

Oh you'll be seeing a change in his career path soon enough. He'll be the P4P best line cook at the Fishkill, NY Applebee's.

                    Agree completely.

Judah himself is chaos embodied at times ; his fuse is really short, and his confidence can be shot down pretty quickly by an offensive fighter who can take his best.

He didn't need another explosive personality in his corner yelling like a moron inbetween rounds.

Someone like Steward or Naz is what he needed ; A calm voice of reason with actual insight who could keep a lid on his ass.
