Do people thinkl that since they root for a fighter they are cool by association? Pac is a beast and I really enjoy watching him fight, Floyd is a **** who I want to slap in the mouth when he talks. But I honestly doubt Floyd is scared of Marg or Cotto hes just a greedy little ****sucker who doesnt care about the sport. I would root my ass for Pac if he fought Floyd but in all honesty Floyd probably pot shots Manny all night and wins the fight.

Unless Freddie can find a major flaw in Cotto that is easy to expose( And I'm not talking the uppercut between Cotto's gloves because Manny barely throws that punch) Cotto is no Ricky Hatton, he would destroy Manny. Plus, Cotto is fighting Clottey and I am very sure Clottey is too strong and durable for Cotto, so Mayweather-Pacquiao will happen. I don't think Cotto is going to win. Maybe Roach knows Cotto won't win and Bob Arum is just hyping it up to get under Mayweather's skin.

I think it's about making the fights happen when they mean the most.

Think about it, all of these people who make the claim that Floyd called out Cotto back at 140 are the same ones who makes the excuse that Floyd didn't fight Cotto in 2007 because he wasn't a big name. So which is it?

Now, you have the #1 fighter in Manny Pacquiao calling out arguably the top Welterweight along with Mosley to fight. There's no excuses, both fighters seem to want the fight, but yet...you still have bitterness (mainly from Floyd fans) who make it seem as if Cotto is gunning for the smaller guy when Floyd also has a shot at fighting Pacquiao. But what they ALSO fail to mention is that the potential fight WON'T be at 140 as a fight with Cotto won't be either.

So in the end, what difference does it make if either Floyd or Cotto fights Pacquiao? Floyd's already fighting THE lightweight champion...but relax, it's a tune-up fight. Is anyone else besides me seeing any contradictions with this??
