i doubt his lifestyle had much to do with his losses..probabaly effect him later in life weight wise/healthwise..he lost b/c of his limitations as a fighter...

I find it amazing that he stayed at 140 almost his whole career while having to lose a lot of weight between fights. Also for him to have the workrate he does its a miracle.

Yea the work-rate maby a miracle but its ******.

Hatton was braggin on 24/7 "end of training none of this 8week BS for me mine is 12weeks". Just shows his ******ity just because he has to do 12 weeks to lose a extra 20kg don't make u hard or a better fighter. Makes you look ****** is what it does.

You're right. His only two losses were to the #1 P4P fighter at the time, and now people talk about him like he was a bum.

hattons weight had nothing to do with his loses. He is a limited fighter who was outskilled by skillful boxers. Isnt that what happens to all british boxers when they go to the states. Calzaghe looked like a ameture against a 44 yr old hopkins and hatton demolished by 2 dominant fighters. All british boxers are limited the only one who really looked like he could mix with the big boys was lennox lewis and he was originally from canada.

He was a good fighter, Roberto Duran did pretty much the same thing in between fights, eat, drink, party but he made it work for him, same for Carlos Monzon and they are known as some of the best fighters in history, did they not know about sacrfice? Hatton left home for something like 5 weeks for the Pacquiao fight, he has to sacrifice his whole lifestyle outside the ring for training camps to squeeze himself down to 140. I'd call that sacrficing something.
