    Balszay vs. Stieglitz

I don't know anything about Balszay... at all, other than his win over Dennis Inkin is pretty damn good.

Stieglitz reminds me a lot of Tyspko. A good boxer, but not good enough to beat a really good pressure fighter (Andrade beat them both).

This is an interesting Euro matchup for the WBO Super Middleweight title.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this matchup?

Karoly Balzsay will win by wide decision.

Karoly is a very skillful southpaw with fast hands, kind of like Chad Dawson. Stieglitz has some decent skills, but he's not really anything special.

How good of a win was Dennis Inkin for him do you think?

****kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk... is he going to show Dirrell up if Dirrell steps up against him do you think?

Since Dirrell has made himself #1 contender according to the WBO, he has a date with Balszay if he wants it.

Inkin was a very good win - his undefeated record was somewhat padded, but he's probably top 10 in the super middleweight division. But Dirrell is very talented, perhaps better than Inkin. He looks like a future champion...

I'm not really sure how Dirrell vs. Balzsay will go, because I've never seen Andre in against anyone really good, except when he lost to Gennady Golovkin in the 2004 Olympics. But he's probably improved since then...

Balzsay-Dirrell is the kind of fight I love to see, because one or the other will emerge as an elite fighter!

I can agree 100% with this... it's nice when championship fights are the ones where it's an even match to determine eliteness, rather than one-sided mismatches designed to give a belt to someone or be an easy defense.
The problem with Dirrell is, he has fought a few good fighters, but no real deals yet. It's hard to say that Oganov, Hanshaw and Stevens were bad fighters, but... they are not top tier.

He fights very well against Oganov and Hanshaw, especially Hanshaw... it really showcases what he can do with his switching.

Stevens also shows that he can box effectively and win a decision, even if it is in the WORST way to fight possible. It was a terrible watch, but... say what you want, he won pretty much every round against another prospect and a huge puncher. That could come in handy if he gets in trouble with his aggressive style... although it will kill his opportunity to get television fights and significant paychecks.

Balzsay will outclass Stieglitz, he may even stop him late. Stieglitz will put up a game effort, if you recall his match with Andrade, he fought well before being worn down and stopped.

Blazsay, as has been mentioned in this thread already, is a class above Stieglitz. He'll either stop Siteglitz late or win a wide UD.
