Margaritos name is tarnished he is never going to be in any of the ea games. They're not going to pay him money to put his cheating ass in the game. I wish they did put him in so I could beat the living **** out of him with every character in the game, cheating bastard. I know they didn't want to cough up money to a cheater.Comment

I think JMM will more than likely be put in the game. Now that he has the Floyd fight comming up. EA will more than likely put him in it.
They do have the creation option. People just dont know how to edit the create mode to look like their favorites. I know how to but rarely do it because it takes forever.Comment

EA said that they approached one Heavyweight prospect (who they did not name) and asked if he would like to be in the game... He responded by saying that he wanted his OWN boxing game ala Mike Tyson's Punch-Out. Rumor has it that it was Arreola.
You also fail to acknowledge that they have "GameFace" in the game, where you can upload a photo of a fighter and it re-creates them in the game. It's not perfect but it should be fairly convenient for recreating fighters who aren't in.
Do you really think they didn't go after Mayweather or Williams to see if they would be in the game? Money was very likely an issue in getting certain fighters. Rather than pouring out excessive amounts of money to greedy fighters who care more about getting a paycheck rather than agreeing to put themself in the game and please the fans (subsequently taking money away from the developers who want to refine the gameplay), I'd rather they miss a few fighters (who are easily creatable in the game) and make the gameplay itself as good as it can be.
UFC's roster has just about every star in it because everybody answers to one man, Dana White. Boxing is a sport - UFC is a company, just like WWE is a company. There is no supreme being in boxing that makes all the ants fall in line... And you can bet your ass that each and every fighter in the UFC knew that if they for whatever reason declined the be in the game, they'd have a hard road ahead of them getting the organization to promote them as anything other than an undercard fighter. Actually, the closest thing to Dana White in boxing is Don King... and he has his own game, "Don King's Prizefighter", which is a terrible, terrible game. But you can bet that with all the influence he has behind the scenes in boxing, he probably let a few boxers know that it might not be in their best interest to join EA's "rival" game.
On top of that, there's Downloadable Content in the future. I do have a strong feeling that come June when PBF/Marquez is around the corner, there will be a DLC pack of something like: Mayweather, Marquez, one of DLH/Hopkins/Holyfield, a classic fighter like Marciano/Johnson, one or both Klits, and maybe some up-and-coming prospect, plus some new gear and maybe a venue.Comment

some of the guys moaning about this just don't realise how much £££££££ it costs to gain the rights to these guys. you think DLH and floyd come cheap?

Paul Williams isn't in the game because its too hard to duplicate his style. He is tall, lanky but doesn't outbox or infight. Isn't a speedy guy nor a power puncher. He throws punches from impossible angles. Throws over 1500+ punches a fight. 125 punches a round.
His stats wont end at 99k. It will break the barrier and go to 100k.Comment
