I don't have a problem with Bunce. He's entertaining and knows his stuff - which is more than can be said about the majority of boxing journos in Britain.
Bunce's Boxing Hour is a bit ropey, tho. It's obsessed with interviewing nobodies for ten or fifteen minutes. It's boxing coverage is threadbare. Aside from news about the odd British fighter it spends very little time bringing fight news from around the globe to the viewer.
Basically it's a vehicle for Bunce's comedy rants. I don't have a problem with that per se, but it can't do that AND offer the kind of comprehensive fight coverage it claims to. There's not enough time.
Bunce is an engaging personality, my girlfriend sat there at watched him rant and was amazed.
Dude, is funny as phuck, and ultimately is a likeable guy. I don't think he is sycophantic either, most of the time he is just in awe of boxers when he meets them live, he is a proper fan.
Kellerman is really unlikeable is constantly writing-off fighters, he probably holds a greater bias than Bunce when it comes to his favourite fighters, his Paul Williams rant vs Verno Phillips was disgusting.
The he writes-off Chad Dawson as a B+ fighter, then interviews him and says it was good win against a tough opponent. I don't think he should make sweeping statements like he does anyway, seems disrespectful, B+ fighter?.....it's just very disrespectful.
first, kellerman is a damn moron. he is nothing but an annoying voice box.
second, that was one pissed off hopkins. something set him off. but i would just pop him if he ever called me some **** like "******" or my equivalent whatever that would be.
wonder what brought about the racism? and why people gotta resort to using the race card. that should be reserved for rednecks and cops or something.
