He's overrating Marquez because he beat Pacquiao twice.

He doesn't want to accept the reality than plenty of Floyd's previous opponents were better than Marquez.

That's all there is to it.

i doubt very seriously that jmm will carry enough power with him to make a dent on pbf......question is, what will your boy jmm do when he's getting tagged by those lightening fast combo's from pbf......and pbf isn't the light punching baby bull juan diaz, i hope you guys aren't putting too much stock in that win he caught over diaz........your hatred for pbf has clouded your judgement and again i say, after your boy gets taught a boxing lesson, what excuses will you make???

and marquez' slow azz won't be able to touch Floyd, pbf is the best defensive fighter in the game today!!! and is still the quickest combo puncher in the game today!!!

I sincerely hope Floyd does not as he says: "Read the newspapers or watch the news about me because the majority of what the media writes and says is going to be negative."

I would not want him to take a loss on account of his yearning for the adoration of a larger boxing population, many of whom discredit any of his accomplishments in the ring.

May his 39 and O continue to grow against the better opposition so he can
go and retire saying "I told you so. You just didn't believe in me."

Not that he needs to prove much else to anyone anyways.

He's already accomplished what the majority never will.

well said!!! good post, but sometimes you just have to prove the doubters wrong....then he can walk up to them and say "now what?".....thing is they won't give him credit for this win........he'll need to go ahead and take care of pac-man, since he's regarded as "the man"
