If Floyd Mayweather Jr wasn't Floyd Mayweather Jr then he wouldn't
be the star he is now. I remember early in Floyd's career when he
was trying to please everyone and got picked apart for it then he
finally switched over to the villian and it is working for him because
so many boxers/fighters are humble but when you throw a bad guy
in the mix then you have some drama. I will be really interested to
see 24/7 with Pacquiao because him and Floyd are polar opposites.
The real deal 24/7 is going to be IF it ever happens Cotto/Mayweather JR.
That fight and 24/7 would be off the hook but I'm sure Floyd will get
Cotto out of his shell because of their history. Bottom line is that
any 24/7 with floyd in it will make for a interesting show. Every story
needs a bad guy.

Well, I beg to differ with him switching to villian, because it worked for MANNY PACQUIAO..I don't see why it won't work for MAYWEATHER specially with his gifted skills. We're not gonna see EYE TO EYE on MAYWEATHER and I respect your opinion. As a matter of fact your one of the few guys here that I don't always agree on but does make sense on most things. Bottomline, is PACQUIAO doesn't listen to all the negativity and just fight his fight. The thing is I don't mind all the trash talking before the fight, thats good for business and help hype up a fight. Its hard for me to be a fan of a boxer, even though he is very skilled, when he trashes other fighters that he already beat in the media.

It's going to be a good fight but Mayweather is going to have fun with Marquez.I like Marquez but he isn't going to beat Mayweather.Marquez is coming to fight and Mayweather is coming to box big differents.If Cotto fights Manny Pac he is going to beat him because that's a different fighter and he is more solid.If Manny Pac fights Mayweater he will lose because Mayweather is faster and box way better.Manny is good too but everybody is on his d*** like he never lose.He lose 3x and one of them loses is to Erik Morales and he out boxed him in that first fight.If Manny is really like that fight Paul Williams I bet Freddie Roach will keep his mouth close on that subject.Everbody will say Manny is to small but this sport is called boxing not sizing up people they will be equal in weight I've seen alot of smaller people win fights against bigger people in the ring and in the streets.

I was looking at old fights and watched the last round of Roger Mayweather vs Julio C. Chavez. The Mayweather dude the Black Mamba """""Q U I T"""""" , hung his head sittin on his stool, QUIT , while he had still had strength get up an scratch , NOPE he QUIT.

He QUIT because he got tested !!! He had that bad Right hand and never QUIT when he could smoke guys with that punch, but the Day came he really met his match, all the skills went out the window, he QUIT !

Mayweather Jr has the same blood line, skills , speed , etc.......... in abundance, Tremendous , unbelievable skills, all kind of skills , defensive , offensive , all skills, got it, """""""""BUT""""""""" he has NOT been in a beat down, the closest I have watched was long ago when he fought Castillo 1. Castillo didn't put enough pressure with Punches. He let May off the hook.
