    Dawson's best options

These are stictly my opinions, and based on his likely hood of success and reward.

    1. Carl Froch - Coming off the Taylor win, he has a small buzz about him, but its false, since even though he got the KO it was more about doing better than Taylor whose wheels came completely off more than Froch being that great. Still the drama of the KO over a guy like Taylor gives him decent value, and a good fight plan leads to a relatively easy win.

    2. Kelly Pavlik - A very good name that Dawson would probably have to meet at a catchweight, much like Hopkins did. Even though he isnt that far removed from the Hopkins thrashing, he still has good name value, and even though he is a middleweight, he has good size so in the ring it wouldnt look that bad. It would be a good credible win, decent money.

    3. Bernard Hopkins - Probably the biggest figt Dawson could make. Problem here is having to deal with Hopkins, and his often unreasonable demands. Hopkin's doesn't need this fight like Chad does so Dawson would have to give in to pretty much anything Bernard asks for. In the ring Hopkins economic style would held Dawson avoid fading late, and though Hopkins is still top 10 P4P level, you never know which fight he will finally fall off in.

    4. Tomasz Adamek II - Probably the second biggest fight Dawson could make at this moment. Major problem here is the risk. The fight would certainly have to be at cruiserweight where Adamek seems to be a rejuvinated man, and Dawson's power would be even less effective than it is at 175.

    5. Adrian Diacanu - The only decent name among the other 175 titlists. Would make for a good action fight. It'd be a decent name on his resume. Not much else to say about it.

    Others:
Calzaghe - Probably won't come out of retirement.
Kessler - In promotional purgatory, likely wouldnt move up anyway.
Taylor - Damaged goods at the moment
    Erdei/Garay - Who cares?
Johnson - Dawson apparently isn't in any hurry for this one.

You should list his mandatory: Tavoris Cloud. Not a star name by any means but I think the fight would be awesome to watch.

Hopkins without a doubt. After what Hopkins did to Pavlik in his last fight a victory over him would be huge for Dawson's career. Even if it's an ugly, close decision the name alone would do more for his resume, and his chances of luring Calzaghe back than any other fighter could. While it would be bad if he lost, I don't see Hop doing to him what he did to Pavlik.

He should face Froch, BHOP won't face him so that is his best option. He already lost to Glenn Johnson IMO (draw at least)

Glen Johnson. HBO is already hyping up Dawson vs Johnson II, and no one in 168 wants to fight Dawson, this the only logical choice.
