I don't think Tarver would make the top 20 at 175. His claim to fame is beating a 35 years old Roy Jones.

I think he deserved the decision in Johnson I but if you think he won the first Jones fight then you can't score a fight, simple as that.

          Tarver-Jones 1 was a weird fight.

Seemed like Tarver had his number then, but in the middle of the ring Jones was beating him.

It's almost like if Tarver wouldn't have been tenative he would be 3-0 versus Jones.

But Jones was stealing rounds like a mofo in the first one.

I had Jones ahead 7-5 but it wasn't like Tarver couldn't have won it had he kept Roy where he was weak, on the ropes.

                Exactly.

If you actually sit down and score the fight, round by round in isolation, as it should be done, you should not have Tarver ahead at the end of it.

He beat many others. Look at his resume.

                  He fought everyone.

One hit wonder is such bs when it comes to Tarver.

He beat everyone's hero Glen Johnson when Johnson was younger and fresher, and Harding, and Reggie Johnson, and Griffin, and Woods, and who he was supposed to beat save for Hopkins.

If anything he was at least a two-hit wonder against Jones.

                  One-hit my ass.

                    Definately an under-rated resume.

It is like people hate him so much for being the one to take out Roy that they try to **** on his career.

Very solid career, borderline HOF status for mine.
