If its true, im happy for him, the man deserves it no doubt. Surprised Floyd is giving him a decent payday, he sure isn't greedy compared to DLH.
It is pretty close, I would say it is atleast a doubler of his career earnings. That is pretty sick.

8 million was a guaranteed he also got the PPV money.

You can't expect too much on the internet.

Anyway, good for Marquez. It's truly about time he got a huge payday for all the great fights and the long, amazing career he's had. This is good news. Now we just have to hope the fight lives up to the rest of Marquez' brilliant outings.

Now, let me ask you. How come you didn't apply this same approach with the "Hatton-Pac 1,6 million US buys number"? 1.6 million US buys would be waaay more than Delahoya-Hopkins or Delahoya-Trinidad. And those numbers were released immediately.

Pac-DLH was 1.3 mil. You gotthe official release, um, immediately.

In fact, Floyd-Hatton did 900K, and HBO was dancing on the ceiling and released the figures by Tuesday morning.

Why wouldn't they release a damn-near-record 1.6 million buy rate? Have you considered that?
dios , go back to a few of the threads.

i stated a few times those figures were wrong and that the usatoday article was a mistake.

mrpain and mangler , posted the comments made by arum after the pac-delahoya fight. the comments bob made last december was identical to the usatoday article that came out recently.

usatoday ran an article quoting bob from december.

the 1.6-2 mil. estimates from bob was for the pac-odlh fight.

like i told you before my guess for the ricky-pac numbers are 500k-750k us and 1mil. u.k.

don't mistake me for whoever you've been arguing ppv numbers with. i could care less about ppv numbers. it's interesting but i'm not gonna argue about it too much.

Check out his prediction for the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight:

Seriously though, I'm happy for your boy, he deserves it after all he has given even though he took some silly decisions in his career.
